Task

. . .Lo and Behold,

the Seventh Graders began their quest--to find the perfect folk tale from somewhere in the world that their Kindergarten Buddy would truly enjoy.  They would look high and low for the most meaningful story that would be just right!

After the Seventh Graders found their perfect folk tale they would retell the story especially for their Kindergarten Buddy.  They would take precise care to use vocabulary that would be just right for 5 and 6 year-olds, have a strong central character named after their Kindergarten Buddy, and create a plot for the story using the Power of 3.

When the story was written the Seventh Graders would create a storyboard to layout their picture books.  The incredibly bright students would plan their layout and design.  Of course, they would not dare forget their title page and dedication page.

Then the fun would really begin!  The students would begin spinning and crafting their designs into the actual pages of their book.  Colorful pages would be abundant as the joyful students created page after page of masterpieces!

Finally, the Seventh Graders will bind their books and wrap them in preparation for the Kindergarten Buddy Picnic.  What a beautiful day that will be.

Of course, everyone will live Happily Ever After!
